Master printmaker Susan Mackin Dolan will lead a transformative workshop using old, discarded library books to make new "artist books". Students will learn how to change a book from its original form by exploring the use of mixed media, collage techniques, and other processes to create a work of art. Original text may also be changed and incorporated into the new art object, thereby altering the book's original meaning. Bring any favorite art supplies, trinkets and objects that appeal to you that might be incorporated into your artist book.
