Invitational Art Sled Exhibition

Art in Public Places presents the Second Invitational Art Sled Exhibition on view in Vail this March.
Promoting art, sustainability, creativity, recreation, and community, the wooden sleds collected through generous donations have been re-created by local artists. They are all unique and reflect the artist’s creative talent. Over a period of several months the exhibiting artists transform the dusty wooden sleds into true works of art highlighting local culture and other relevant themes. The exhibition culminates in a sale of the art sleds with a portion of the proceeds benefiting future Art in Public Places programs.
